Define: procrastination

"Procrastination refers to the act of putting off actions or tasks to a later time. Psychologists often cite such behaviour as a mechanism for coping with the anxiety associated with starting or completing any task or decision."

This defines my current situation perfectly. I have 3 assignments due in a week tomorrow, together totalling 5,000 words & at this very moment, I've written 0. & to be perfectly honest, don't plan on doing any for the next hour or so.

So, Christmas is right around the corner, how exciting?! But to be honest, I feel as though last Christmas was only a couple of months ago - it's crazy how quickly this year has passed.

I'm working in Zara now, which means my weekends are spent in the shop working, that and the fact I'm living away from home for uni makes it a nightmare to go shopping with my mum for my Christmas presents. Thankfully I managed to slip home for 2 nights this week, & we went into town after she'd finished work.
In my opinion this was a verrry successful trip as I also managed to upgrade my phone to the new iPhone 4 as well (although I'm yet to figure out how to work it properly - my 11 year old sister was the one to show my how to turn it on after about 30 mins of puzzling).
Unfortunately, as we didn't get into town until 4pm, & went to sort out my phone, we only had about an hour to do some shopping as the majority of shops closed at 6pm. Fortunately, we headed to Topshop! & I managed to pick up a few things I'd been eyeing up on the website.

I also bought a lovely satchel, however I can't find it on the website.
I think my mum's going to surprise me with the rest of my stuff. Honestly cannot wait :) eeeeek!

I cannot wait to go home for Christmas though, I finish on Dec 17th for a whole month - lovely! I can't wait to be at home with the Christmas decorations up, stuffing myself with chocolates from a variety of different tins, whether it be Roses, Quality Street or Miniature Heroes. I'm soooo excited!

I hope you're all having a lovely lead up to Christmas, & MERRY CHRISTMAS if I don't get the chance to say it before hand.

Black dress to a wedding?

Hey guys!
This is going to be a quick post as today has been a nightmare right from very start to finish so I just really need to lay down & possibly catch up on Grey's anatomy.

The main reason for this post is to kindly ask all of you lovely people to please take a quick look/ listen to my wonderful boyfriends new music video. He's been a singer songwriter for years & music is his number 1 passion & his life ambition is to get heard. So being the kind girlfriend that I am, I thought I'd do everything I possibly can to kind of, help him on his way or so to speak. I'd be very grateful if you could do that :) thank you.
Click HERE to view the video :)

Also, I need some fashion advice from all you fashionistas out there...
Is it okay to wear a little black dress to a wedding?
My boyfriends brother is getting married on August 21st & there seems to be a kind of theme. Although there isn't a set dress code, everyone seems to be going in black & white. However, my boyfriends mother and sister are both wearing white dresses with a lot of black detailing, whereas my dress is a satin pencil dress with white piping.

Yeah, so I was hoping for someone's true opinion. Is a black dress to morbid for a wedding?
Thanks in advance for any help :)

Project beautiful

Ermmm Hi. I would just like to start this post off by apologising and admitting that I am truly awful. I promised to post more, and alas, I haven't. I do apologise to all of you who just have me sitting in your 'Blogs I'm following' list. To be completely honest, I wouldn't be surprised if my name started to collect dust... & cobwebs.
I promise I've been on here on numerous occasions & have begun to write a post, but given up half way through due to feeling uninspired, which would potentially lead my blog to become verrry repetitive & boring (even more so than it already is lol).

Reasons for depriving my blog?
My boyfrienddd , University work - which is a complete & utter nightmareeeee!!!, The internet in the university halls sucks & takes about an hour to load each page & just pure laziness I'm sorry.

So while I'm at home (with a faster internet connection) without my boyfriend, with no work to be done (well not yet anyway, leaving it 'till last minute is always more fun :|), I thought I'd dust away those cobwebs & stop being so lazy!

This post, I've decided, will be about OPERATION BEAUTIFUL.
I stumbled across this whilst browsing the internet recently & I truly believe it is a lovely idea. The goal is to end 'negative self-talk or fat-talk'.
To participate in Operation Beautiful, all you need to do is take a minute to write a motivating note on a post-it note and put it in a public place (i.e. public toilets, gym changing rooms, telephone boxes etc...) so that girls and women like yourselves can read. I can guarantee you that while some will only smile once reading, others will feel touched by the kind note from a random stranger.
Kudos to Caitlin, the editor of Operation Beautiful.
I think this is a beautiful idea ♥

Happy belated NY!

Belated Happy New Year bloggers :)

I've finally found the time to sit down & have a good old nose around everyone else's recent blogs (something I've not done for quite some time!) and decided that one of my main New Years resolutions is to get back into the swing of things on here. After moving to uni in September, I was just so busy with work, partying and so on, I completely forgot about my blog *slaps wrists* but now I am back :)

I hope everyone had a fab Christmas! Mine was absolutely lovely... (Received a lot of nice Soap & Glory stuff that I will shortly be doing little reviews on! Yippeeee!)

Anyway, this was just a quick stop by, but I'll start blogging properly again within the next few days!
